Definitions
Capitalised terms used in these Terms have the meanings below.
Acceptance and capacity
You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract under the law of your jurisdiction (typically 18+, or the applicable local age of legal majority). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not have that authority or do not agree, do not use the Service.
Account and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for every action taken under your account. Notify [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorised access; we will help you regain control and rotate credentials.
You agree to provide accurate, current, complete information at registration and to keep it up to date. We may suspend accounts that present materially false information.
Subscription, billing, and trials
Each plan tier has a 7-day free trial. A valid card is required at signup; we do not charge until the trial ends. You can cancel any time before trial end with no charge.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, your choice) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; access continues until then.
Upgrade/downgrade is immediate and prorated. Annual subscriptions are paid up front; mid-period downgrade does not refund the unused portion but credits it toward the next renewal.
Failed payments enter an automatic dunning cycle managed by Stripe. After repeated failures the workspace transitions to a 7-day read-only grace window and then to fully suspended.
Refunds: we offer a 14-day refund on accidental or duplicated charges. Plan-mismatch ("I picked Agency but only needed Starter") is handled via downgrade and prorated credit, not refund.
Taxes (KDV, VAT, sales tax) are applied where required by your billing address. The displayed price excludes tax unless explicitly stated.
Acceptable use
You will not, and will not permit anyone to, use the Service to:
- Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or violates third-party rights or platform policies (Meta, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Spam, send unsolicited bulk messages, harvest contacts, scrape platforms, or impersonate any person or entity.
- Distribute malware, phishing material, exploits, or content designed to interfere with computer systems.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except where permitted by mandatory law.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach security or authentication measures, except via our published responsible disclosure programme ([email protected]).
- Resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise commercialise the Service outside of an explicit reseller arrangement signed separately.
- Use the Service to facilitate sanctioned activity or transactions with embargoed parties, or in a way that violates UK, EU, or US export controls.
Your content
You retain all rights to Content you bring to the Service. You grant PostRoute a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, display, and otherwise process your Content solely as needed to provide the Service (including delivering it to platforms you have authorised PostRoute to publish on).
You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this licence and to publish the Content to the platforms you select. PostRoute is not a content moderator for the platforms; their terms apply to what gets published there.
You are responsible for backing up Content you can't afford to lose. We retain Content according to the schedule in the Privacy policy.
Third-party services
PostRoute integrates with Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky, Pinterest, Stripe, Resend, and other third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or content moderation decisions made by those services. If a platform suspends your account or restricts our API access, we will surface the issue but cannot override it.
Service availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime measured at our edge. Status is published at status.postroute.io. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance unless emergency security patches require a shorter window. We do not promise uninterrupted operation; downtime caused by force majeure, third-party platform outages, or your own connectivity is excluded from uptime calculations.
Modifications to the service
We may add, change, or discontinue features. Materially adverse changes to a paid feature will be announced at least 30 days in advance and entitle you to cancel and receive a prorated refund of any unused prepaid period for the affected feature. Minor improvements, bug fixes, and security patches require no notice.
Termination and suspension
You may close your account from Settings → Billing → Cancel at any time. After cancellation, the workspace enters a 7-day grace window during which we preserve your data and you can re-activate. After the grace window, drafts are deleted and scheduled posts are marked failed; account-level data persists for 90 days for the purposes of refund/dispute resolution and is then erased subject to statutory retention.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if (i) you breach the Acceptable Use section in a way that causes or threatens harm to PostRoute, other users, or third parties; (ii) we are required to do so by law or court order; (iii) your payment is more than 30 days past due. We will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure where it is safe to do so.
Intellectual property
PostRoute (the brand, the code, the design, the documentation) is owned by TOORX LTD and protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. These Terms grant you only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service per the subscription you have paid for. No other rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES; THIS SECTION APPLIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTROUTE'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EURO (€100). IN NO EVENT WILL POSTROUTE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR FRAUD OR INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT).
Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless PostRoute, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your Content, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (c) your infringement of any third-party right. We will give you prompt notice of any claim and reasonable cooperation in defence; you may not settle a claim that imposes obligations on PostRoute without our written consent.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought before the courts of England and Wales, which have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information. For consumers in the EU, this clause does not deprive you of mandatory consumer-protection rights under your local law.
General
These Terms, together with the Privacy policy, Cookie policy, Security policy, and any DPA you sign with us, constitute the entire agreement between you and PostRoute.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the invalid provision is replaced by an enforceable one closest to the parties' original intent.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, with notice to you.
Notices to PostRoute go to [email protected]. Notices to you go to the email address on your account.
Changes
Material changes (price changes, expanded restrictions on use, new fee categories) take effect 30 days after notice to your account address. Minor changes (clarifications, formatting, contact updates) take effect immediately. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
